John H. Galbraith, Associate
John Galbraith joined Wafra in 2007. Mr. Galbraith's responsibilities consist of providing financial analysis and performing multi-layered portfolio analysis for the asset management group, including analyses on proposed leasing, sales, and capital market transactions. He evaluates and incorporates project assumptions, financial risk, the identification of risks, and the appropriateness of data into his discounted cash flow and waterfall scenario models. In addition, Mr. Galbraith is responsible for fund performance reporting for all Wafra's properties in the United States and Canada.
Prior to joining Wafra, Mr. Galbraith worked in the asset management group of Madison Capital LLC, a real estate investment and development firm based in New York City, and was a senior associate at The Hammersmith Group, a family real estate investment company based in Boston, MA. He also served as a licensed real estate broker for CitiHabitats.
Prior to his career in real estate, Mr. Galbraith co-founded Incogniti Inc., an online privacy technology company. Prior to co-founding Incogniti, he was an Equity Research Associate at Morgan Stanley & Company focused on the property & casualty insurance and re-insurance sectors.
Mr. Galbraith holds a Bachelor of Science in French from Georgetown University and a Masters of Business Administration in Finance and Management from New York University Stern School of Business. He is a member of the Beta Gamma Sigma Honor Society. Mr. Galbraith is fluent in French and Spanish. He is an avid skier, tennis, and soccer player.
