Sabine Kraut, Vice President
Ms. Kraut has been part of Wafra's Real Estate acquisition team since 2003, participating in real estate acquisitions totaling over $500 million. Her primary responsibilities include acquisitions underwriting, due diligence coordination, new deal origination/screening of all major asset types and strategic asset management oversight for hotel investment opportunities. She is also responsible for sourcing other select investment opportunities across the real estate spectrum, including those in the private equity arena.
Prior to joining Wafra, Ms. Kraut was part of Arthur Andersen's Real Estate Group where she performed all aspects of financial analysis, valuation assignments on a national and international basis, as well as securitization due diligence of CMBS projects. One of her major responsibilities at Andersen included her involvement in specific hospitality related assignments including the valuation and analysis of hotel investments and acquisitions. Ms. Kraut's previous track record also encompassed considerable experience in hotel management.
Ms. Kraut holds an undergraduate degree from Cornell's School of Hotel Management. She received her Master's degree in Real Estate Finance & Investment from New York University in 2004. Ms. Kraut was awarded a Diploma in Hotel Management in 1995. She is a member of the Cornell Hotel Society and an avid skier and equestrian.
