Ms. Compitello was appointed Director of Asset Management in June 2007, bringing with her over 25 years of extensive experience in real estate asset management.  In her current role at Wafra, Ms. Compitello provides oversight of all managed real estate investments and is responsible for the implementation of operating plans and maximization of investment objectives. 

 

Prior to joining Wafra, Ms. Compitello was a Senior Investment Manager for the Hampshire Companies where she was responsible for supervising valuation methodology, evaluating fund acquisitions, leasing, and sales.  Before joining the Hampshire Companies, she was the Managing Director and Portfolio Manager of the Tower Fund, a $1.4 billion open-end commingled real estate fund of SSR Real Estate Advisors.  There she was responsible for investment performance, raising capital and investor relations.  Previous to SSR, Ms. Compitello was the Senior Vice President in charge of a $3.5 billion real estate portfolio for the MBL Assurance Corporation.

Ms. Compitello holds a B.A. from Rutgers University and is a licensed New Jersey Real Estate Salesperson.
