Jeffrey Goldman, Analyst
Mr. Goldman is primarily responsible for financial modeling, compiling both property and fund level performance results for reporting purposes, as well as maintaining contact with operating partners. He has in excess of five years of commercial real estate experience and his areas of expertise include: underwriting, asset management, acquisitions and distressed workouts/recapitalizations.
Mr. Goldman began his career in the industry with CB Richard Ellis in their Asset Management Training Program. Following his experience at CBRE, Mr. Goldman gained exposure to the lending side of the business and was an Analyst in the Structured Finance Group at Arbor Realty Trust, Inc., a commercial mortgage REIT, working on the underwriting and closing of more than $2 billion in structured commercial mortgages, mezzanine notes, B-Notes and preferred or direct equity investments that were to be placed into one of Arbor’s three CDOs. Mr. Goldman has consulted on projects for: the FDIC, PNC’s Real Estate Group, and J.P. Morgan’s Securitization Group. He has analyzed, underwritten and modeled all asset classes while working on transactions at both the asset and portfolio levels.
Mr. Goldman holds a Bachelor of Science in Communication from Boston University and is currently working towards obtaining his Master’s degree in Real Estate with a concentration in Finance and Investment at New York University’s Schack Institute of Real Estate. Mr. Goldman is a member of the Urban Land Institute (ULI) and the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors (RICS).
